Lot 3 (11) Principal Street, Hastings Quarter


The transformation of Hastings Quarter​ continues in 2020, with work commencing at Lot 3 (11) Principal Street to enable more Western Australians to have quality, affordable and sustainable homes to live in.

The Department of Communities is collaborating with Terrace Homes to deliver 12 contemporary two, three and four-bedroom townhouses on the former Wanneroo Primary School site.

These townhouses will incorporate Silver Level Livable Housing Design Guidelines.

They will increase the diversity of housing in Wanneroo and continue to highlight Communities’ commitment to the State Government’s Affordable Housing Action Plan.

The developments in Hastings Quarter will help revitalise the local area and provide future residents with access to an inclusive and connected lifestyle, close to public transport, employment hubs and a range of services and amenity.

Communities aims to bring about real and lasting social change in Hastings Quarter by providing quality homes in safe, inclusive neighbourhoods, which are integrated with the environment, with strong community connections and where people have access to jobs and services.

Construction is due to commence in the second quarter of 2020 and scheduled to be completed in 2021.
